Mossflower - Brian Jacques After finishing Redwall, I wanted more. The prequel Mossflower seemed a pretty reasonable choice.

I did enjoy the read, nevertheless, while the writing was excellent, the storyline was not as good as Redwall. Jacques still does an amazing job in creating a fascinating world of woodland creatures, but the story just didn't grab me the way I hoped it would.
